iZombie season 3 is almost here, and who better than star Rose McIver to preview what’s coming for Liv Moore and her crime-fighting friends?
We had the chance to ask McIver about Liv’s new challenges — including the possible threat posed by the militant zombies of Fillmore-Graves — while at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con last summer. Check out the video below to see for yourself what’s in store.
iZombie season 3 premieres Tuesday, April 4 at 9pm.
The Flash season 3 introduced a new character in Tuesday’s episode — Tom Felton’s Julian Albert. Much to the dismay of a very confused Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), the CSI expert seems like he’s not going anywhere.
But this is good news for fans of Felton, best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies. The actor spoke about his new role — and what we can expect going forward — while at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con back in July. Watch his interview video below.
Arrow season 5 promises to be a big one for Oliver Queen and company. After all, at the end of the previous season, most of the team abandoned their vigilante mission for… well basically, anything else. It’s like they don’t want to be in life-and-death situations all the time!
Fortunately, this is Arrow and the whole gang is likely to be back, fighting for justice and their very lives, within the near future.
Who better than to tease when this might occur than the cast of Arrow themselves? Watch these Arrow season 5 video interviews shot at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con in July.

Arrow season 5 premieres Wednesday, October 5 at 8pm on The CW.
The Flash season 3 is about to premiere, so what better time to hear from the show’s stars about what fans can expect from the new episodes? I had a chance to talk to most of the cast (unfortunately, I wasn’t able to grab Candice Patton — sorry WestAllen fans!) at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con back in July.
Watch the videos below to see what Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale, and two of the show’s executive producers had to say about The Flash in season 3.
First up, here’s Grant Gustin being all charming and mostly vague about what’s coming for Barry Allen. Flashpoint — the alternate timeline Barry created at the end of season 2 and the title of the premiere episode — figures prominently in his answers.
Next is Carlos Valdes, who has plenty to say about Cisco Ramon. This could be a big year for Cisco, especially since his Flashpoint doppelganger is more than a little different from the nerd we know and love.
Danielle Panabaker’s Caitlin Snow gets her changes as well in the Flashpoint universe (Spoiler alert: She utters a great line in the premiere, “Have I been kidnapped?”). The actress hinted at what might be coming in her interview.
Things will definitely be different for Joe West in season 3. What does Jesse L. Martin have to say about that? See for yourself!
The last of the actors we’ve got here (stay tuned for Tom Cavanagh and new cast member Tom Felton next week) is Kid Flash himself, Keiynan Lonsdale. Now a regular, the actor has plenty to say about what antics Wally West might get up to in the new season.
Finally, two of The Flash‘s executive producers give away more than a few Flash season 3 spoilers in their interview.
The Flash season 3 premieres Tuesday, October 4 at 8pm on The CW.
The disease is loose on Containment and no one is safe.
If you didn’t believe that after the Containment premiere on Tuesday night, you might want to start getting worried about that 4 to 6 feet of distance once you watch stars Chris Wood (Jake Riley) and George Young (Dr. Victor Cannerts) talk about acting in the CW show.
First up is Wood (The Vampire Diaries) talking about what it’s like to find love and maintain law while surrounded by bloody and horrible death.
Would you still be smiling after all that? I wouldn’t. Hiding sounds like a very, very good option.
But it’s not an option for Young’s character of Victor Cannerts, the CDC’s representative on-site at the scene of the outbreak. Responsible for the quarantine that may have saved the world from doom and destruction, Dr. Cannerts gets to be the one on the front lines going forward as well. How does he deal?
Containment airs Tuesdays at 9pm on The CW. Check back later for more Containment video featuring executive producers Julie Plec, Matt Nix, and Chris Ord, as well as interviews with stars like Claudia Black, Hanna Mangan-Lawrence, and more.
Lucifer is about to have its premiere on FOX, and this is definitely not a show you want to miss. The rather hilarious adventures of a bored devil (the titular Lucifer Morningstar) as he helps to solve crimes in Los Angeles, this new series had its world premiere last July at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.
It was one of the surprise hits of the big, nerdy weekend.
Funny and clever in all the right ways, Lucifer easily had one of the best pilots of the past year and promises to be a devilishly good show going forward. Before watching the premiere episode — airing Monday, January 25 at 9pm on FOX — here are a few interviews with the cast and executive producers, all with a few Lucifer spoilers to share.
It’s a whole new world in the Arrow season 4 premiere episode. Not only has the Green Arrow risen to take on the evil of Star City, but there are a whole bunch of rather shocking changes set for upcoming episodes.
Will Felicity ever get that engagement ring from Oliver? What will happen to Oliver in the flashbacks, now that he is back again on Lian Yu? Why did Lance betray everyone by aligning himself with Damien Darhk? And who was buried under that gravestone in the final scene?
Arrow executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle offered some hints to reporters before the premiere. Sure, they’re not exactly answers, but they might offer a guide to where all of this is going.
When is Oliver actually going to propose to Felicity?
Guggenheim: Ahhhh… You’ve got to watch the show.
Why did Oliver hide the ring instead of proposing at the end of the premiere?
Guggenheim: When Oliver hides the ring, essentially, we’re dramatizing the fact that: OK. He’s with Felicity. They’re together, but things are not the same as they were back in Ivy Town. We wanted to get at that concept that their relationship had changed now that they’re back in Star City.
Can you at least say whether or not it’s Felicity buried under the gravestone?
Mericle: We don’t necessarily know who it is now — we’re figuring out the plan for the season — but we want it, obviously, to have resonance. If it doesn’t mean something to the characters, it won’t mean anything to the audience either.
When will the death happen?
Guggenheim: Six months [from now] in show time.
Can we hope for a Lazarus Pit resurrection?
Mericle: They will stay dead. We want to bring stakes back to the show, and so we’ll be finding a way to handle the Lazarus Pit portion of season 3 in season 4.
What will happen to Oliver, now that he is back on the Island?
Mericle: He’s going to encounter what we hope is a love interest, a woman that he’s going to fall in love with. And he’s also going to encounter a lot of magic and mysticism, and that is going to inform the present-day in Star City with Damien Darhk.
Speaking of Damien Darhk, what is Captain Lance doing working with the bad guy?
Mericle: Lance is working with Damien and we’ll see, later in the season, he did not know exactly what he was signing up for. We’re going to play it really as a crisis for Lance — why he chose to do it and what it means for him. He’s always been the moral center of the show and someone who has lorded his morality over Oliver.
Despite all of the dark foreboding at the end of “Green Arrow,” the episode was much brighter and more cheerful that Arrow has been in the past. Why the change?
Mericle: It’s really grown out of who Oliver is: He’s happier now. He’s in love with Felicity. He’s no longer the post-traumatic-stress-disorder-suffering soldier he once was the first three seasons. That’s really where it’s coming from.
Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8pm on The CW. Check back for more spoilers soon!
I’m sorry to report that Haven has been canceled by Syfy and will end after the upcoming episodes of season 5.
The Wrap first reported the news on Tuesday and reconfirmed that the 13 episodes of season 5B will air as planned in October. Fortunately, it sounds like the creative team behind Haven knew this was a possibility and tried to wrap-up as much of the story as possible.
“We approached as if it was going to be our final season, so we were ready for it story-wise,” executive producer Gabrielle Staunton said in an interview with The Wrap. As for the final episode: “We left it open but if it is the series finale, we think the fans will be satisfied. We didn’t want to leave it on a giant cliffhanger, just in case we didn’t come back.”
Although Staunton hoped that fans would be satisfied with the Haven finale as it stands, she did indicate that a TV movie wrapping up any loose ends was always a possibility. “I bet you’d find some actors and writers who are very amenable to that,” she said.
One tiny silver lining coming with Haven canceled is that Staunton gave an oblique hint about what the finale could bring. When asked about the original ending once envisioned by creators Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn, the current EP said:
“Haven evolved so organically over the years, things happened that creators couldn’t really anticipate, so I think some of the stuff is new. We definitely did some stuff that they saw from the very beginning in terms of thematic closure and relationship closure and stuff like that, but as our mythology expanded over the years, I think we ended up taking it to maybe a deeper level than we would have thought we were going to in the pilot.”
Haven season 5B will premiere on Thursday, October 8. No finale date has been announced.
Things are changing a lot for Iris West on The Flash season 2, and Candice Patton has plenty to say about it. Watch this video showing her interview at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 11.
When The Flash came to the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con on July 11, Danielle Panabaker had plenty to say about what she hoped and expected for her character of Dr. Caitlin Snow. That included some teases about love and about her alter ego of Killer Frost. Watch the video above for The Flash spoilers and more!
